Rail Day 20.09.2024 at Rostock Central Station - Drop by and celebrate with us.

The railway companies ODEG, DB Regio, Molli and Verkehrsverbund Warnow will be presenting themselves together with the Federal Police and VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at Rostock Central Station and offering a colourful programme for visitors.

The highlight of the event will be opened by Transport Minister Reinhard Meyer: an anniversary exhibition on 50 years of the Rostock S-Bahn, which takes a look at the history of the S-Bahn since the 1970s, and modernised vehicles from ODEG and DB Regio will be presented on the platforms. A colourful programme for all passengers and visitors, including a train rally, fashion show (old uniforms and new company clothing), raffle, wheel of fortune, simulator and virtual ride with VR glasses, the opportunity to visit the driver's cab and the presentation of the vehicle wrapping for the S-Bahn anniversary will be offered on this day at Rostock Central Station.

The day will be accompanied by the ODEG mascot and the music band "Les Bumms Boys".

Interested visitors can find out all about rail and recruitment at the ODEG and DB Regio stand.

We cordially invite you to join in the celebrations and, of course, to continue to explore the region in a congestion-free and environmentally friendly way by public transport!
