Karow

Karow is located around twelve kilometres east of Goldberg and around nine kilometres north of Plau am See. Lake Plau lies on the southern edge. The Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature park borders to the north. The central point of contact for nature lovers and guests of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park is the Karower Meiler Culture and Information Centre, which is located 1.5 km from Karow railway station. In addition to a permanent exhibition on the development of this cultural landscape, the centre regularly hosts special exhibitions on nature and landscape themes. Karow is a district of Plau am See.
