Promotion of regional bus services

As part of the mobility offensive, the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern grants
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Grants for intermittent bus services on road transport lines
Public transport, so-called regional bus services/lines, in compliance with defined quality criteria.

The grants for regional bus services in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are aimed at optimising and expanding service standards in the region.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance and after consulting the State Court of Audit, issues a funding guideline for the granting of subsidies to promote regional bus services in local public transport in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The funding is aimed at municipal authorities in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and was approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour. This funding comes into force on 05.12.2023.
