Regiobus MV: Reliable connections in the countryside too

Together with the transport companies and municipal authorities, the state wants to improve mobility in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Among other things, regional bus routes with uniform quality standards are being introduced across the districts.

This means easy-to-remember departure times every day of the week.

The first Regiobus routes were launched with the 12/2023 timetable change.

Quality level 1
  • Monday to Friday between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. every hour
  • Saturday between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. every second hour
  • Sundays and public holidays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. every second hour

The MV on-call bus supplements the existing local public transport system in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and enables convenient and reliable transport over the "last mile". Flexible transport options are available in almost all parts of the state and are gradually being introduced in regions without an on-call bus service. We will keep you informed of the latest developments.

Using the MV on-call bus is uncomplicated. You can book your journey by calling the central service number 0385 55573340  book. It is also possible to book the on-call bus online or per App which offers you additional flexibility. The booking options are available from the districts listed below and the transport companies operating there.

The MV on-call bus not only offers flexibility, but also convenience and reliability. It provides access to remote areas even without your own vehicle. Whether for the daily commute to work, shopping or leisure activities - the MV on-call bus adapts to your schedule and takes you safely to your destination.

For the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, you can order your on-call bus around the clock all year round online from the VMV timetable information about the Call bus form on the VLP website or by telephone at 03883 61 61 61. The pre-registration time is at least two hours.

Do you have special needs? No problem! If you need to take a wheelchair, bicycle or large dog with you, or if you are travelling with more than four people, please contact us by telephone on 03883 61 61 61. The service hours for this are from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 6 pm.
Orders for special requirements are not accepted by telephone on Sundays, public holidays, 24 December and 31 December.

 In the district of Nordwestmecklenburg, the NAHBUS call bus will take you to a transfer stop from where you can continue your journey on a regular service. Under the service number 03881 78880 or simply via the Call bus order form (nahbus.de) you can easily order an on-call bus. Please note that the order must be placed at least one hour before the scheduled departure time. If you want to take a wheelchair, pushchair etc. with you, you must order at least 24 hours before the planned departure time. If you need a call bus first thing in the morning, please place your order the day before. The call bus runs for you from Monday to Saturday from 05:00 to 22:00 and on Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 to 20:00.

In the district of Rostock you can "rubi" order!

It is the flexible alternative for journeys in the districts of Mecklenburgische Schweiz, Gnoien and Tessin as well as the town of Teterow. rubi" will take you from your starting point to your desired destination within the operating hours. You can use "rubi" during operating hours from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00. Bookings can be made up to 60 minutes before or from 60 minutes after a regular scheduled journey for the respective route, either by calling 03843 69400 (Monday to Friday 04:00 - 23:00) or via the rubi app. rubi benefits all passengers for whom only a limited timetable was previously available. This makes rubi a flexible addition to the existing bus routes. If the destination is outside the on-call bus region, rubi can only be ordered as far as the stop at which it is possible to change to another means of transport.

In the district of Vorpommern-Rügen you can use the on-call bus "VVR surfer" order!

The VVR - Surfer is the on-call bus service of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen mbH (VVR). Whether you need to get to the doctor, go shopping or enjoy your leisure time - the VVR Surfer ensures your mobility! You can easily book the VVR - Surfer by calling the following number 038326 600 666 about the VVR - Surfer App or directly here in the Online form .

The VVR - Surfer on-call bus service will start on 1 June 2024 with its first journeys in the 701 Grimmen Süd-Ost on-call bus area, followed by the 702 Grimmen Süd-West area on 1 July 2024. The VVR-Surfer will be gradually expanded in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen. We will keep you up to date here.

In Western Pomerania-Greifswald is currently running the "ILSE" and the "Friedrich.
 
In the travel area of Anklamer Verkehrsgesellschaft AVG and the Usedomer Bäderbahn UBB there are currently a few on-call bus journeys on offer.
 
In the service area of Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Greifswald "ILSE"The "ILSE" bus runs without a timetable and can also be booked or pre-booked via telephone, internet or smartphone using a QR code. The "ILSE" bus always runs from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00 (except on public holidays) unless a scheduled bus is already running within 30 minutes. One call is enough. Tel: 0 39 76  240 240 (Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00). "ILSE" adapts to your schedule and gets you to your destination reliably.

In the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald offers the "Friedrich" offers an on-demand transport service. The "Friedrich" runs without a fixed timetable and supplements the existing public transport services in the city. It serves around 250 virtual stops throughout the city (operating times: Mon - Thu: 06.00 - 24.00, Fri: 06.00 - 02.00, Sat: 07.00 - 02.00, Sun and before and on public holidays 09.00 - 24.00). Bookings can be made either by telephone at 03834 53 24 24 (Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00) or via the "Friedrich" app can be booked. All you have to do when booking is select a start and destination point. The app then shows you when and where you can board. At the same time, you can track where "Friedrich" is.

In the city of Neubrandenburg new.sw individual journeys run as an on-call bus. These are marked with an "R" in the timetable and run after registration by telephone. Call the toll-free number 0800 2678328 and inform us of the desired boarding and alighting stops at least 30 minutes before the timetable departure time.
