Since 1895, the historic "Rasende Roland" has been whizzing across Germany's largest island, Rügen, at a cosy top speed of 30 km/h. And on an even narrower track than the "Molli" - 750 mm is enough. The steam-powered miniature railway connects the traditional seaside resorts and is a romantic holiday experience, especially for visitors to the island. The "Rasende Roland" runs daily from Putbus via Binz, Sellin and Baabe to Göhren. During the season, it also travels to Lauterbach (Mole). In addition to the miniature railway "Rasender Roland", PRESS also operates the standard-gauge line RB26 Bergen auf Rügen - Lauterbach (Mole) on behalf of the state.
