HANSeatische Eisenbahn GmbH

HANSeatische Eisenbahn GmbH (HANS) is a Brandenburg railway company that has been operating on the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state network since 2014. HANS operates the RB 16 line on the Neustrelitz - Mirow route as a subcontractor of ODEG. Since 2022, HANS has also been operating the RE27 line between Bergen auf Rügen and the Sassnitz ferry harbour during the season and the RB74 between Meyenburg (Brandenburg) and Plau am See as a seasonal service. This means that HANS will operate almost 100,000 train kilometres per year in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the 2023 timetable year.
